All of this human camouflage art has made by Liu Bolin, 35 years old from Shandong, China. And almost of this camouflage photos he made by himself. You can see, artist of all photos is only one person, he is Liu Bolin . . .
Recently, he finished up a show at Eli Klein fine art in New York showcasing a variety of his pieces including some form the series ‘camouflage’. The collection is an exploration of human nature and animal instincts which features Chinese citizens painted to blend into their surroundings. The subjects are covered head to toe in paint.
He say, this activity he do to protest the government that was closing his studio at 2005 and oppression against artists.
